UPDATE

Wow so I just realized that it has been a month since the last time I posted on my blog. Well lets see what has been going on this past 30+ days.

* I had a birthday (26yrs) and so did my sis (29yrs)
* Graydon got cuter, really he gets cuter by the day
* We got a puppy, Hershey
* I now work at FBC as the nursery coordinator
* Ty went to NM to visit his gma. Got stranded in Midland due to fog which forced me to drive on the interstate, not my cup-o-tea, but praise God made it in safe
* Dropped and broke my iphone Oops!
* Visited by Ty's gparents from Idaho
* We took a trip back to NM, stopping in Albq where we got to spend the night with my brother and sister-in-law and my most awesome nephew Asher. Spent a few days with Tys family and sadly went to his gma Jeans funeral. Met some family I had never met and that Ty hadn't seen in a long time. Propositioned with an illegal substance. NO!!!! We didn't accept but got a huge laugh about it.
*Went to Sutherland Farms pumpkin patch and had a blast
* Shipped G off to my moms house for the week. Whaaaaa I am sad. But he is having a blast!
* Got a new iphone YAY
* G is still gone :(

my plans vs. GOD'S PLANS

Today is Love Pickard's due date:

According to MY PLANS, today I WOULD be a mother of a 2.5 yr old (Graydon),

a 10mth old (Hope), and a newborn (Love)

According to GOD'S PLANS, today I AM the mother of a handsome 2.5 yr old (Graydon),

a 10mth old (Hope), and a precious baby (Love)

The two statements sound alike but God's plans were and are so much different from mine. My plans consisted of me holding Hope and Love with my son by my side but today it is God who holds my babies with THE SON by His side. I pictured my babies looking into their father's eyes but today they look into THE FATHER'S eyes. He is daily working in me to use the life and loss of Hope and Love to bring glory to HIS kingdom. My plans may not have been fulfilled but the plan of God is so fulfilling!

Horsin' Around

One of our favorite places to go is the Holloway Ranch. We try to go as much as possible to pet the horses, feed the cows, and shoot the deer!

Mom Connection

Hey there Mama's! For those that don't know, Woodward MOPS has been changed to Mom Connection! We will do the same great stuff like fellowship, crafts, lessons, and of course eat yummy food. But this year we are expanding our horizons and looking to make a change in the lives of mothers and in our great community! I wish to encourage mothers (not just those with preschoolers) to come join us this year as we have awesome and exciting new things happening. Here is a schedule for our first semester of the MOM CONNECTION:

Happy Birthday KD!

31 years ago (yes 31) Kara Dawn was born. What a great day that was, well I don't know that for sure cuz I wasn't born yet. It was actually 6 1/2 yrs after that I was born! Hee Hee. But put the age difference aside and what we have is an amazing friendship. K you have been there for me the past 2 yrs when I needed you so much. You make me laugh with all your quirky obsessions and cleaning hang-ups. I love ya and look forward to many more years of friendship. Hey in 6 1/2 yrs you can post about my 31st birthday!

We took this week to spend some time hanging out with the family and friends. We didn't do alot but that was the best part. Here is G sitting outside the camper ready for the fun to begin...
