SchoolBoy

Graydon is three now and that means he is old enough to attend preschool. This year he is enrolled in the Woodward Christian Academy where he will go from 8:30-11:30 5 days a week! Today was his first day...

Getting dressed for his very first day of school!

I don't know why but it seems tradition to take pics by this tree. Posing in his snazzy school clothes, backpack, and
bobcat (?).

He is a teachers pet already picking a "tree" for his teacher Ms. Nina.

And now we are off to school!

He quickly put the brakes on when he realized mommy wasn't going with him! But he was a big boy and didn't cry *unlike mommy*

And before we knew it it was 11:30 and time for pick-up. Here he comes...

And here comes the fit when he realizes mom and dad are here to take him home!

His teacher Ms. Nina said he did great but all we heard on the way home was, "Let me outta of this van! I wanna go back to my classroom! I wanna stay here and play!".

Never before has he ever thrown a fit like that! EVER! I guess that means he likes school? So day one down and only 17years left to go ;)

Update on Eden

This is little miss Eden Spaeth. She is the beautiful one year old daughter of my friend TeNeil, and has just been diagnosed with neuroblastoma. The cancer is located in her abdomen and will require 5 rounds of chemotherapy. She begins chemotherapy this evening and will continue for a 15-20 week period.

Eden's family is standing firm in their faith and claiming Psalm118:17 over their baby girl. So that's what we are doing also, claiming that Eden "will not die but live to declare the works of the Lord". Gods word promises that healing is already hers!

Prayers for Eden

The Pickard's are in prayer for Eden Spaeth. She is the 1yr old daughter of MC's own TeNeil Spaeth. Eden has been very sick and was recently admitted to OU Children's Hospital for testing. God knows her inmost parts and is very capable of providing exactly what her little body needs. Praying the Lord provides her doctors with answers and a plan for healing. Also praying for peace and rest for TeNeil and Justin during this time.

Chef G

Graydon woke up this morning and requested eggs for breakfast. I took the opportunity to teach and have a fun experience with it. So I cracked the eggs and he stirred.

We added cheese (cheese makes everything better) and a pinch of season salt. Then into the pan (he placed the eggs in the imaginary oven to cook). Cut up some apples and wha-la...

He was very proud of himself (so was mommy). How did it taste you might ask. We don't know because he decided to eat my english muffin instead! Hahaha gotta love em'!

Water Dog

At the beginning of the summer, Graydon did NOT enjoy the waterpark! We spent most of our time out of the water...

But with a little time and alot of patience he decided it wasn't too bad....

And the slides are great. He even gives them two thumbs up...

So now that summer is coming to an end, he is a total water dog (learning to dog paddle)...

Our only obstacle now...

Breaking the news that it's time to go home...

Noooooooo!

Cousins

Graydon and his favorite cousin Asher got to spend some time together a few weeks ago. They had a blast and it was great for my brother and I to watch our own kids play together.

Then we were able to celebrate Ashman's 2nd birthday!
